Playing the pianos in Sarasota, Florida (thanks to Shelia Dalton for the video)
I started playing piano when I was eight years old. I was accompanist for my junior high and high school choirs. At seventeen I became pianist for the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir for their three-week tour of Europe (18 performances). Throughout my college years at Ohio University, I provided piano accompaniment for various soloists (vocal and instrumental) in many styles of music. I have a B.S. in Communication but was originally a music major with a partial scholarship. I was pianist for Parma Christian Church for nine years, I've played for numerous weddings, and for 15 years I was half of a singer-songwriter duo. Since 2015, I have been playing "The Great American Songbook" and the best of jazz and Tin Pan Alley for various audiences. I also play classical guitar, ukulele and bowed psaltery.
